Outer Banks

Built for Outer Banks Boats

Whether you run Oregon Inlet for offshore fish or work the Roanoke and Croatan sounds, your deck takes a beating out here.

Gelcoat bakes in the summer sun, sand grinds down the non-skid and a wet deck covered in fish slime gets slick fast. Custom EVA foam decking puts a cushioned, grippy surface under your feet that stays cooler in the sun and rinses clean with fresh water.

We template your boat where it sits, design the layout with you, CNC-cut every piece in our shop and come back to install it. Center consoles, bay boats, skiffs and sound boats all get a deck cut to fit, not a generic kit.

Local Boating Guide

Boating the Outer Banks

The northern Outer Banks wrap around the Roanoke, Croatan and Currituck sounds, with Oregon Inlet as the gateway to the Atlantic. In one day you can run offshore toward the Gulf Stream, work the sound for trout and drum, and tie up for dinner on the Manteo waterfront.

Questions

Outer Banks Foam Decking FAQ

Does foam decking hold up to saltwater and sun?

Yes. MarineMat is a closed-cell EVA marine foam that is UV-stable and resists mold, mildew and stains. Rinse it with fresh water after a saltwater trip and scrub with mild soap and a soft brush when it needs it.

Can you install at my marina slip?

Yes. We template and install at docks, marina slips, storage lots and driveways across the northern Outer Banks. If your marina has rules for outside contractors, let us know and we will work with them.

Can you add my boat name, logo or a fish ruler?

Yes. We cut boat names, logos, fish rulers and topo maps in-house on our CNC machine, and you approve a design proof before anything is cut.
